The Rowell Girls [Lexington, SC Family Photographer]

I love shooting with the Rowells. As you can see here and here, they’re all so pretty! This shoot was mainly for Evie, and the goal was a smile. Never in my life have a had such a serious kid at a photo shoot. Not unhappy at all, just observant and serious…which is super cute on such a little face. When we finally got smiles, it was such a victory!

Kilzer-Bliss Wedding [Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer]

It’s spring, so it’s time to get some weddings up on the blog. :) And I like that it’s kicking off with Erin and Jason’s super sweet wedding, especially since their first look was in a field surrounded by yellow flowers. Plus, who wouldn’t want to marry Captain America?

And be sure to read the vendor details for Erin’s description of her ring!

Bride’s dress – Maggie Sottero, Noelle
Bride’s shoes – Nina (purchased at DSW)
Bridesmaids dresses – Bridesmaids chose their own dresses.
Groom’s & Groomsmen attire – Jos A. Bank
Invitations – Custom designed from Wedding Paper Divas
Ring: “Jason designed & had my ring hand-crafted from a family jeweler. It is one of a kind, custom designed. The design comes from the Celtic fisherman’s knot. Fishermen would tie this knot before leaving on a trip and leave it with their wives. The wives would leave the knots tied until their husbands returned & they could untie it together.”

The Hugghins Family [Atlanta, GA Family Photographer]

I love shooting with this family. We’ve had great shoots at Stone Mountain and Piedmont Park, but this time, we went a little off the beaten path…shooting on the grounds of a pretty church near Ponce de Leon. I can’t believe how fast Jack is growing. I love all his expressions! :)
