The Messer Family [Saluda River Club Testimonial]

Just a few of my favorites from the Messer’s testimonial portrait session at Saluda River Club. Talk about girl power! :)

Neva [Savannah, GA Family Photographer]

It’s a testament to how long I let the blog slide that I’m picking it back up with little Neva’s seven-month photos…and I recently received an invitation to her first birthday party! Better late than never! Here are a few of my favorites of Neva (and her pretty mama) in Forsyth Park in Savannah. :)

The Coombs Family [Harbor Island, SC Family Photographer]

I love family reunion portrait sessions. Everyone gets together from all over, choses a great location to vacation, and gets all dolled up for pictures. They’re always fun because of the endless combinations of portraits you can do. This is the Coombs family, and I have to say, they might have been the best coordinated group I’ve seen. I love the results!

Jenny and Scott [Columbia, SC Newlywed Photographer]

You’ve already seen Jenny and Scott’s gorgeous Savannah wedding on the blog. Today, I get to share their newlywed portraits. A combination of rainy weather and crazy schedules meant that we couldn’t shoot engagement portraits, so we shifted the session to a few weeks after the wedding, and we had a blast. They’re just so cute, aren’t they?

Jasmine [Columbia, SC Maternity Photographer]

It’s not too often that someone calls with a specific request to do intimate maternity portraits, so when Jasmine called, I was stoked. I had a lot of fun ideas, and we came out with some really great stuff. I’m only showing one from that set here, since they’re very personal, but I LOVE this shot. It makes me think of the cover of Vanity Fair for some reason. The others are more casual and fun, so I’ve shared some of those as well.

Keating [Columbia, SC Newborn Photographer]

This is Keating, and during our session, he ran the range of completely passed out to completely unhappy with having his photo taken. :) And, of course, declared his allegiance to his dad’s favorite team.

Kerry, Chris, and Katherine [Columbia, SC Maternity and Newborn Photographer]

Another exciting post to feature wedding clients having babies. You’ll remember Kerry and Chris’s gorgeous Tybee Island wedding. Here are some of my favorites from her maternity session and then some from our newborn session with their brand new little girl, Katherine. And while you’re looking, check out the wall of photos they have in their house. There are so many from the engagement session, rehearsal dinner, and wedding that we shot together! It completely made my day. :) Congrats, you guys!

Jenny and Scott [Savannah, GA Wedding Photographer]

Sometimes I luck out and get a couple whose wedding completely lines up with how I work. Jenny and Scott were that couple. Based in Columbia, SC (like me), they decided to get married in Savannah, GA, where I shoot all the time. This way, we were able to meet up before the wedding and get to know each other before the big day. And the big day was a blast. Jenny and Scott threw an amazing wedding, and they enjoyed every minute of it. I love to be a part of a day like this! Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day.

And be sure to check out their proposal story on PoptheQ!

The Lewis Family [Hilton Head Island, SC Family Photographer]

It’s a very cool thing to be able to take the first family portraits for a family with a new baby. The Lewis family vacations in Hilton Head every year, because Aaron and Robin got married nearby.  This was their first summer bringing 7-month-old Sam along. Here are just a few of my favorites from our session.

Bridget and Charlie [Atlanta, GA Maternity and Newborn Photographer]

I’m crazy late in posting these…my best friend’s maternity photos AND her daughter, Charlie’s, first photo shoot! As it happens, Charlie was born on my birthday. Gotta love the way the world works!
