Bronwyn [Columbia, SC Headshot Photographer]

It’s been a while since I had headshots up on the blog. This is Bronwyn, who needed some headshots for work. Since she didn’t need much, we just did one outfit rather than two or three like I do with a normal headshot session. And I think they came out just right!

Allie and Mark [Columbia, SC Engagement Photographer]

I’m really going to have to work on my posting reliability! I hope you’re all having a great summer out there. :p I’ve been enjoying mine a little too much, and letting the blog hang silent…but now I’m back, and I’m starting with Allie and Mark’s engagement session at Riverwalk Park in West Columbia.

Allie and Mark are so cute together. They were planning a wedding in another town, but wanted engagement portraits here in Columbia, so they called me. Both said they weren’t to big on getting their photos taken…but the camera loves them. :)

The Rowell Girls [Lexington, SC Family Photographer]

I love shooting with the Rowells. As you can see here and here, they’re all so pretty! This shoot was mainly for Evie, and the goal was a smile. Never in my life have a had such a serious kid at a photo shoot. Not unhappy at all, just observant and serious…which is super cute on such a little face. When we finally got smiles, it was such a victory!

Kilzer-Bliss Wedding [Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer]

It’s spring, so it’s time to get some weddings up on the blog. :) And I like that it’s kicking off with Erin and Jason’s super sweet wedding, especially since their first look was in a field surrounded by yellow flowers. Plus, who wouldn’t want to marry Captain America?

And be sure to read the vendor details for Erin’s description of her ring!

Bride’s dress – Maggie Sottero, Noelle
Bride’s shoes – Nina (purchased at DSW)
Bridesmaids dresses – Bridesmaids chose their own dresses.
Groom’s & Groomsmen attire – Jos A. Bank
Invitations – Custom designed from Wedding Paper Divas
Ring: “Jason designed & had my ring hand-crafted from a family jeweler. It is one of a kind, custom designed. The design comes from the Celtic fisherman’s knot. Fishermen would tie this knot before leaving on a trip and leave it with their wives. The wives would leave the knots tied until their husbands returned & they could untie it together.”

The Sadler Family [Saluda River Club Testimonial]

After another month of silence from this very bad blogger (sorry!), I’m back with the Sadler family’s testimonial portrait session at Saluda River Club. We had a pretty fall day for this shoot, and lucked into blooms that went perfectly with the girls’ adorable outfits.

Katie and Joe [Columbia, South Carolina Engagement Photographer]

When Katie contacted me about doing her engagement portraits at the Columbia Riverbanks Zoo Botanical Gardens, I was definitely excited. The weather was perfect and everything was blooming! We spent a few hours checking out the gardens and getting super sweet photos of the two of them. These are just a few of my favorites.

The Messer Family [Saluda River Club Testimonial]

Just a few of my favorites from the Messer’s testimonial portrait session at Saluda River Club. Talk about girl power! :)

Featured! Lydia and Geoff on Borrowed & Blue

So, I have been seriously neglecting the blog recently. I have TONS of posts to catch up on, but what better way to start than a wedding blog feature? :)

Remember Lydia and Geoff’s AMAZING Charleston wedding? I’m excited to say that they’ve been featured on Borrowed & Blue. Please check it out!

The Coombs Family [Harbor Island, SC Family Photographer]

I love family reunion portrait sessions. Everyone gets together from all over, choses a great location to vacation, and gets all dolled up for pictures. They’re always fun because of the endless combinations of portraits you can do. This is the Coombs family, and I have to say, they might have been the best coordinated group I’ve seen. I love the results!

Jenny and Scott [Columbia, SC Newlywed Photographer]

You’ve already seen Jenny and Scott’s gorgeous Savannah wedding on the blog. Today, I get to share their newlywed portraits. A combination of rainy weather and crazy schedules meant that we couldn’t shoot engagement portraits, so we shifted the session to a few weeks after the wedding, and we had a blast. They’re just so cute, aren’t they?
