Allie and Mark [Columbia, SC Engagement Photographer]

I’m really going to have to work on my posting reliability! I hope you’re all having a great summer out there. :p I’ve been enjoying mine a little too much, and letting the blog hang silent…but now I’m back, and I’m starting with Allie and Mark’s engagement session at Riverwalk Park in West Columbia.

Allie and Mark are so cute together. They were planning a wedding in another town, but wanted engagement portraits here in Columbia, so they called me. Both said they weren’t to big on getting their photos taken…but the camera loves them. :)

Kilzer-Bliss Wedding [Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer]

It’s spring, so it’s time to get some weddings up on the blog. :) And I like that it’s kicking off with Erin and Jason’s super sweet wedding, especially since their first look was in a field surrounded by yellow flowers. Plus, who wouldn’t want to marry Captain America?

And be sure to read the vendor details for Erin’s description of her ring!

Ring: “Jason designed & had my ring hand-crafted from a family jeweler. It is one of a kind, custom designed. The design comes from the Celtic fisherman’s knot. Fishermen would tie this knot before leaving on a trip and leave it with their wives. The wives would leave the knots tied until their husbands returned & they could untie it together.”

Jessie and Mike [Atlanta, GA Wedding Photographer]

Jessie and I have known each other for a long time…since we were both Livsey Leopards. :) When she contacted me to see if I could photograph her wedding, I was SO excited. I knew that with her artistic eye and style, it was going to be an amazing evening. And she did not disappoint. From her gorgeous red dress to the amazing venue, Jessie and Mike’s wedding was fantastic. I’m so happy I got to play a roll in it!

Jenny and Scott [Savannah, GA Wedding Photographer]

Sometimes I luck out and get a couple whose wedding completely lines up with how I work. Jenny and Scott were that couple. Based in Columbia, SC (like me), they decided to get married in Savannah, GA, where I shoot all the time. This way, we were able to meet up before the wedding and get to know each other before the big day. And the big day was a blast. Jenny and Scott threw an amazing wedding, and they enjoyed every minute of it. I love to be a part of a day like this! Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day.

Ashley and Nate [Myrtle Beach, SC Wedding Photographer]

I’m so excited to share Ashley and Nate’s gorgeous wedding on the blog today. If you follow the blog, you’ve already seen Ashley’s bridal portraits, so you know that she’s stunning. She and Nate are just so adorable together, and everything about their day was beautiful. The ceremony was on the beach outside the Marriott Grande Dunes hotel….which is not technically allowed. So they did it flash mob style. They drew a heart in the sand and everyone stood in the heart to wait as the wedding party came in. So cool! They were married by a pastor who’d known Ashley her entire life, and the light and the clouds seemed to line up perfectly just for their ceremony. The reception was a blast, with their guests from all over dancing the night away. As you can tell, I LOVED their last dance with the bubbles on the dance floor. So sweet! These are just a few of my favorites.

And don’t forget to check out their proposal story on PoptheQ!

Ashley and Norman [Savannah, GA Wedding Photographer]

After some birthday slacking, I’m back on the blog. And I’m starting it off with Ashley and Norman’s sweet Savannah wedding. They have such a great story: Ashley had been best friends with Norman’s sister since high school, but didn’t meet him until much later. It just goes to show that you meet the right person at the right time. :)   Their wedding had such an intimate, low-country feel….and just the right blend of sweet and playful. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Ashley and Justin [Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer]

I’m excited to share a few of my favorites from Ashley and Justin’s Wintergreen Woods wedding. This was my first time shooting at the venue, and I loved it. The ceremony location is just so pretty, all surrounded by flowers and greenery. Ashley and Justin were adorable and seemed totally relaxed all day. I love the image of Ashley and her bridesmaids practicing the dance to Party Rock Anthem while they’re getting ready. And yes, they busted it out during the reception…and it was fantastic. Congrats, guys!

Ashley [Myrtle Beach, SC Bridal Photographer]

I shot Ashley and Nate’s sweet Myrtle Beach wedding on Friday, so now I’m so excited that I can share Ashley’s gorgeous bridal portraits. We met up at the Marriott Grand Dunes  to shoot about a month before the wedding…and here are just a few of my favorites. :)
